What is dea fast team?

DEA's Fast Team (Foreign-deployed Advisory and Support Teams) is a group of specially trained agents who provide direct support to foreign law enforcement agencies and governments in the fight against drug trafficking and other criminal activities. The Fast Team was established in 2005 and is composed of approximately 90 highly skilled agents who are deployed around the world to assist with the planning, coordination and execution of complex drug enforcement operations. The team's primary focus is on disrupting drug trafficking organizations and stopping the flow of illicit narcotics into the United States. They work closely with foreign partners to train, mentor, and advise local law enforcement agencies on how to effectively target and dismantle criminal networks. The Fast Team is an important component of the DEA's international efforts to combat drug trafficking and promote global security.
